For my Santa Claus candy bar wrapper, I adhered a small pom pom to the top of his hat using my hot glue gun. However, you may want to add a couple of crafty touches. STEP THREE: Add Your Personal TouchĪt this point, your Santa may be ready for gift-giving. To adhere, I used my Scotch ATG tape gun, but you could use double-sided tape or any permanent adhesive tape runner. Wrap the template around the candy bar, visually lining up the “face” of the template with the front of the candy bar. I then added two black paper fastener buttons to Santa’s coat (see “Step Three” below). You can use scissors, but I recommend a paper trimmer for quick, straight cuts. STEP TWO: Cut and AdhereĪfter the template is done printing, allow the ink to dry for a minute or two, and then cut it out. Even though I have a different brand printer, the paper works well with my ink. The Epson paper is also ultra smooth and has a special coating that ensures a smudge-free finish. It’s heavy duty but not too thick to fold around the candy bar. For my Santa, I used Epson Premium Matte Presentation Paper. Regular copy paper is too thin, while card stock is usually too thick. However, for best results, I recommend using presentation paper. This box is editable, so you can personalize it with your own holiday message or the name of your recipient.įor printing, you could use regular copy paper or card stock.
